If you’ve been out to the stores, restaurants, or gone into work, chances are you’ve worn some kind of face covering. It’s the new norm to protect ourselves and those around us so I’m embracing the change with stylish and fun face masks and accessories.
Face Masks
Face masks serve a function, but that doesn’t mean they have to be boring! There are so many kinds to choose from. You can find them in a variety of prints, fabrics, sizes, and designs to suit your style and taste. Today, I’m sharing some of my favorite face masks. Note that these are not medical grade and that all masks and accessories should be washed before each use.
These chic and fun print cotton masks are double layered and have soft adjustable elastic ear loops. The quality is amazing and I particularly love the design of the mask overall – it sits nicely against the bridge of my nose and cheeks without needing a nose wire. For reference, the mask dimensions are 9 7/16″ L x 5 1/2″ H. There’s also an inner pocket that can hold an air filter if needed. There are a variety of colors and designs for women and kids. You can buy individual masks or a bundle of 2 or 3.
I love the luxurious look and feel of silk masks. They instantly dress up any outfit and are so soft against the skin. This vibrant green 100% mulberry silk mask is incredibly soft, has a hidden nose wire, and adjustable elastic ear loops. The silk inner pocket can hold an air filter, which is included. The mask measures 10 1/4″ L x 5 3/4″ H and feels slightly big on my face. I also have it in pink.
These silk satin blend masks are soft, sturdy, and double layered. They’re incredibly form fitting and fit perfectly on my face without a nose wire. The sides are seamless and have matching colored adjustable elastic ear loops. It also has an inner pocket for an air filter, which can be purchased through their site. The mask measures 7 ⅗” L x 4 ⅘” H, making it ideal for petite faces. They come in a variety of stunning neutral shades like cappuccino, pearl, pink, and copper from their Original Collection as well as white, ruby, and black from their Luxe Collection.

These beautifully embroidered linen masks are handmade and have the cutest embroidered floral designs. They’re triple-layered and also have an air filter pocket. The fit is slightly big on me and the elastic ear loops are non-adjustable. They’re comfortable and breathable. This 5-pack comes in a variety of colors with different designs on each, but can also be purchased separately. They’re currently unavailable but these and these are similar.
These solid color masks are lightweight, protective, and very breathable. It has a high-performance 3 layer protection with a built in washable filter and elastic ear loops. The quality, protection, and comfort is exceptional at an affordable price. A medium fits me well, but it also comes in small (kids)and large (mens). This 3-pack is available in white, grey, and black.
I also like these basic black cotton masks. I love that they’re simple, comfortable, and go with everything. They shrink slightly after a wash which makes for a better fit for me. I keep these in the car or my purse as back-ups.
Face Mask Chains
A popular and trendy face mask addition is a stylish face mask chain – it’s a fun and chic accessory that’s as fashionable as it is functional. When you remove your mask, it will hang from the chain around your neck. This is a super convenient way to remove your mask and find it again quickly instead of putting it away and having to dig through your purse or pockets to find it. There’s a range of available options, from versatile shiny metal to classy pearls.
Many retailers are selling pricey face mask chains, but there’s an easy and affordable alternative! Eyeglass chains have been around for ages, can be readily found everywhere, and can be easily adapted to face masks. Most eyeglasses chains already have a lobster clasp that can be attached to the ear loops of face masks. If not, you can purchase lobster clasps and jump rings from any craft store and simply add them on with flat nose pliers.

Dainty pearl chains are my go-to lately. They add an elegant and feminie touch to any face mask. This delicate thin gold chain with pearls is so pretty and a subtle accessory. I also love the exquisite look of this all pearl chain.
Chic acrylic chains are bold statement accessories for face masks. They’re chunky and thick, but lightweight. You can find them in a variety of fun shades like white marble and tortoiseshell. I love the sleekness of this all black chain and the soft neural shade of this tan marble chain.
Shiny and bright metal chains are like necklaces for face masks. This stylish silver-tone chain is of good quality and mid-weight. They go with any outfit and can give it an edge. I also love this chunky mid-weight gold-tone chain, which dresses up any face mask.
